The CWU has been in dialogue with Manpower UK Ltd to agree a process to enable both parties to jointly develop Business Cases on pay increases. These discussions remain at an early stage and members will be updated as developments occur.

Other News: Network Operations - Attendence Patterns
Branches and members will have seen the near daily messages on Network Attendance Patterns sign up. The flow of communications is not to be unexpected and the Union has, of course, already seen this with SMT and CSIP before it. However, unlike previous occasions no detailed figures are being released and therefore it remains highly sceptical as to whether members are signing up in vast droves, as alleged. The fact that the deadline has been extended and opened suggests that the numbers are not being achieved. The Executive remains committed to an agreed settlement of a voluntary nature and we expect management to want to talk to the Union because members by and large are not signing up.
